TYLER - The price of your Thanksgiving feast is going to be a bit more costly this year, but don't take out a loan just yet.

This year it's estimated that the cost of your Thanksgiving dinner is going up 1.3-percent for a grand total of nearly 60 cents.

While inflation usually causes prices to go up every year.

This year, what we have to be thankful for is a relatively low inflation rate on food.

The U.S.D.A. estimates food costs increasing by .5-percent to 1.5-percent this year.

That's the lowest increase since 1992!

Linda Kessinger has been cooking Thanksgiving dinner for 45 years, she says price will never cause her to hold back on the special meal.
