'Project IGNITE' to be held July 13
Tyler, Texas (KETK) — Encompass Home Health has empowered its employees to go into their communities and do random acts of kindness.
Project IGNITE gives local teams a set amount of money with instructions to simply make an impact. Each team chooses the way in which the money is spent and in the way they feel it will be most impactful.
“This is a program about giving. It’s a reflection of our values as individuals and an organization,” said April Anthony, CEO of Encompass Home Health. “We asked employees, ‘Who do you want to help? How do you want to make a difference?’ And their responses were just amazing.”
A team from Encompass Tyler, which represents East Texas counties, was recently chosen for Project IGNITE. The employees decided to go out in the community on Saturday, July 13, 2013 to perform Random Acts of Kindness.
