Gilmer —  The Gilmer council sold city-owned property Tuesday night, putting $15,000 in its bank account and another $15,000 in the hands of the Yamboree Association.

However, one resident accused the city of “confiscating” money from the Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce and the city’s beloved Yamboree.
