LONGVIEW — An alleged prostitute and her pimp are in jail after chasing a man during a failed transaction on Wednesday afternoon. 

Sharika Hopson, 20, and Airias Ellison, 23, of Dallas, drove to Longview after setting up a meeting with a man to have sex with Hopson at  Longview hotel.

When they arrived, the man did not have the amount of money agreed upon so the transaction was cancelled. According to police, the man had agreed to pay $2000, but only provided $200.

The two became upset with the man and started to chase him with their car.

At one point, Ellison began to chase the man on foot with a tire tool he took from a nearby garage.

The man flagged down a Longview Police Officer and told him what had happened.

Both Hopson and Ellison were arrested.

As of Friday evening, officials tell us that the man who was chased has not been charged with anything. However, they do say that charges may be filed in the future.
