Longview—A prostitution sting in Longview Friday leads to the arrest of 25 people.
The sting took place in the 1600 Block of East Marshall Avenue.

Several residents and business owners complained to police about prostitution in the area.

22 men and 3 women were arrested during the sting.

The Longview Police Department says it is important to be proactive in cracking down on prostitution before it leads to other more serious crimes.

“When someone alerts us of a problem we want to be proactive and not wait for it to get so bad or out of control, says Officer Kevin Brownlee with the Longview Police Department.

Several of the people arrested had prior arrest for prostitution.

How many of those were arrested in the last sting as well?

Sounds like some busy women.

25 in one night. It should be more, there is hardly a man alive that would turn down the pretty girl who was waving them down that evening. Tired of hearing about this already.

WHO CARES??? ENOUGH OF THIS ALREADY
