Saturday, January 18, marks the eve of great American writer Edgar Allan Poe's 205th birthday.

Join APEX for a celebration of this macabre master's life and death, January 18 at 10:30 p.m.

The evening will feature a performance of original play "Nevermore" by Matt Ritchey, readings from works of Poe, party favors, original music, and more.

Dress for this event is funeral attire.

"Nevermore" is a tale of madness, murder and addiction featuring a young Edgar Allan Poe in fictional adventures based on his classic works of literature, including “The Raven” and “The Fall of the House of Usher.” In this tale, Poe visits his old friend Monty in his crumbling manor and encounters a mystery in the deaths of Monty’s parents and the disappearance of his sister Lenore. Solving the mystery requires Poe to confront his own dark past. "Nevermore" runs January 17-25 and is not appropriate for children.
