Even though we have had recent rain in East Texas, it has not been enough to help us overcome the rainfall deficit we are currently in. Listed below are various East Texas cities, the amount of rain they have received so far this year, and how far behind we are for the year.
|City||2013 Total (inches)||Departure from Average (inches)|
|Mount Pleasant||18.17||- 9.10|
|San Augustine||24.19||- 5.98|
|Sulphur Springs||13.05||- 12.99|
|Wills Point||24.08||- 0.51|
*Totals were taken from various airports and COOP observers. Some amounts may not be exactly accurate and some error may exist in the data.
