WASHINGTON (AP) - New York Rep. Charles Rangel says he knows in
his heart he will be judged by his life, not by the House that
overwhelmingly voted to censure him.

Moments after Thursday's 333-79 censure vote - and House Speaker
Nancy Pelosi's somber reading of his punishment - Rangel briefly
addressed his colleagues.

The 20-term Democrat said even though it was painful to accept
the vote, he believed it reflected the political tide.

The Korean War veteran said "compared to where I've been I
haven't had a bad day since."

He wouldn't say that; about not having a bad day since, if her were held to the same accountability as the rest of us peons. He might feel like life inside a prison, which is where he should be, wasn't so good. This is just another example of what has gone wrong with our government. And it doesen't just stop in Congress, our local judges regard themselves just as much above the law as Rangel does. Go to a courtroom and watch their behavior towards we the commoners.
