Rangers' Colby Lewis to have hip surgery, won't pitch this season
Arlington, TX — Right-hander Colby Lewis will have surgery on his right hip and won't pitch for the Rangers this season, he and general manager Jon Daniels announced Tuesday during a conference call.
Lewis will have bone spurs removed from his hip either late this week or early next week. Lewis has been told that he can return to normal activity in two months.
