Rangers lose to Tigers in Detroit
Detroit — Detroit scored five runs in the first inning against Grimm and blistered him for seven before he left after 3 1/3 innings en route to an easy 7-2 victory over the Rangers to open a three-game series at Comerica Park.
Grimm exited with soreness in his right forearm, but a club official said that Grimm was removed as a precaution. His spot won't be needed again until July 21, the Rangers’ third start after the All-Star break.
