Recycling Christmas trees

December 26, 2008 - 9:49pm
Officials with the cities of Tyler and Longview are offering locations to recycle your Christmas trees.
The tree must be non-flocked and all the decorations, garland and tinsel removed.
Starting today Tyler residents can drop their trees off at Golden Road Park and Fun Forest Park. In Longview you can take trees to Mcwhorter Park, Stamper Park, or the composite site.
Game Warden Chris Green says each tree dropped off will help area fisherman create fish habitats.
