Following President Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday night, U.S. Representative Louie Gohmert discussed the speech with his guest for the evening, Fox News' Sean Hannity.

In his speech, the President said that he would act alone to boost the economy, ease regulations to bring jobs back from overseas, build more manufacturing hubs, create retirement savings for workers whose employers don't offer them, and raise the minimum wage to more than $10 an hour for new federal contractors.

"The President pointed out some very noble things," Gohmert said. "We all want people to do better. We want people to work. We want to use more of our energy. All those things we agree on. It's just that his track record for the last five years belies what he's saying."

Gohmert compared the President to Santa Claus, saying that he is promising to give the public whatever they want.

"He's got the children paying for the gifts to the parents," Gohmert said.

Hannity was quick to agree with his friend and host for the evening. The radio and television host added that with $7 trillion in debt, "we are robbing from our kids and from our grandkids".

"I think it's immoral, and it can be stopped," Hannity said.

Rep. Gohmert argued that, despite the President's 'lovely speech', the government needs to get out of the way in order to see the economy take off the way everyone hopes it will.

"In East Texas, we love when you talk about the potential for this economy if we will just let the economy run," Gohmert told Hannity. "In East Texas we produce more natural gas than any other Congressional district in Texas. We're still producing oil... you know, they get it there."

Hannity agreed with the Tyler resprentative.

"[America] has more gas, more shale, more coal, more energy than the entire Middle East combined. And we could create jobs and weath, help pay down our debt and pay socal security off," Hannity said. "To me that is the single greatest answer."

"There are better days ahead," Gohmert concluded. "But it's going to be in spite of the government, not because of the government."

You can watch the exchange between Hannity and Rep. Gohmert above.

Wow, uncle "Samstein"? Sheila, Tyler has a long, proud Jewish heritage. Do the names Bergfeld or Greenberg mean anything to you?

But back on topic, how you tie that back to the state of the union address is anybody's guess. You probably accuse Obama of being a Muslim, though he's not.
And then there's Bengazi...the teabagger fall back. During the Bush administration there were 13 attacks on US embassies, and 92 employees (+/-) were killed. Where was the Republican/Tea Party outrage then?

And it goes on and on...deaf ranting junk and Sheila's hatred for all things Jewish...BORING!! Democrats, progressives, and forward-leaning Americans continue to hope and pray that repubs and teatrolls just keep doing exactly what they're doing...giving their positions on women's rights, the economy, the poor, all without one single viable solution to any of the myriad problems they themselves have caused. You both aren't worth another rebuttal on this subject...adios!

Especially that part where my nation was taken-over and the American citizen- (founder and builder) is being squeezed-out. Not to mention American blood spilled to fulfill this agenda.

"Silence the naysayers"?

pete that is typical Progressive liberal suppression of speech talk.

So to you Obama has been perfect and everyone else sabotaged his plans for five years, right?

But what about Bush? Aren't you gonna blame him to?

Hope for change.. and with Obama's poll numbers there WILL be change in 2014. And the democrats will find out what the 'coattail effect' is.

Uncle Samstein presented his puppet to us last night with his usual messages of divide. I was reminded of :
I will have the most transparent administration in history.
I have Shovel ready jobs.
The IRS is not targeting anyone.
It was about a movie.
If I had a son.
I will put an end to the type of politics that "breeds division, conflict and cynicism".
You didn't build that.
I will restore trust in Government.
The cops acted stupidly.
The Public Will Have 5 Days To Look at all bills passed

We all know Obamacare is a slow motion trainwreck. It is still going on and will cost this country TRILLIONS upon TRILLIONS.

There is no way to finance it for if you offer everything then it will cost you everything.

Hope for CHANGE in 2014. We need a super majority of Republicans and Tea Party to get rid of Obamacare and investigate what happened in Benghazi, Fast&Furious, IRS scandal, and all the other illegal things the Obama administration has done.

The reason the POTUS hasn't been able to move this country forward is, in part, pictured above. There are no civil words to describe the disasters these miserable un-Americans have caused the citizens of this country so far, and it is absolutely chilling to think what would happen if they gained control of our government...to use a tag like from Tyler's clown prince, deaf smith, hope for change (a clean-sweep Democratic win) in 2014 and 2016! Silence the naysayers...stupid t-swillers!!
