WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Gohmert is in Washington, D.C. today fighting against the healthcare reform bill that is to be voted on tomorrow.
We spoke with him today, asking him what the general feeling is up there today, and why the democrats are pushing so hard for this bill, even when so many people seem to oppose it.

What has mr.Gophert voted for that would help the people in his district that are unemployed and without health insurance?
What an embarassment to East Texas! Many of these obstructionists are going to find out at the polls that the voters are not as "ignorant" as they perceive us to be. The silent, intelligent majority is going to overwhelm the vocal, screaming minority.
What an embarrassment he is. He's our Michelle Bachmann.
The party of NO will never give up...it will always be no, no, no. =
Is your reporter serious? I guess the Democrats are pushing for reform to a system that is broken, where millions of Americans are uninsured. I have excellent health insurance - I am concerned about the millions of people who don't. If this nation can afford to fight for freedom overseas, we can afford to take care of our own here. Though underreported, many East Texans support reform - Louie is in favor of the status quo.
What's he got to prepare for, the guy doesn't think. Perhaps it's preparation for all the bloviating he will do later...
