Tyler, Texas (KETK) —
According to Neil Munro, White House Correspondent for The Daily Caller, and CNN, President Barack Obama has denied telling Americans, "if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period.”
There are roughly 29 videoed recordings of the president promising 300 million Americans which he proclaims he never said.
Monday, before a crowd of about 200 "Organizing for Action" supporters at the lavish St. Regis Hotel in Washington, D.C., President Obama explained the following:
"What we said was you could keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law was passed. So, the bottom line is, is that we are making the insurance market better for everybody."
Around 3.5 million Americans are having or have had their insurance policies canceled as a direct result of which insurance and medical experts claim is "Obamacare."
Obama went on to say his supporters needed to "counter the political effect of the many cancelations by highlighting good-news stories, and by reassuring people who have lost their insurance that they can buy new Obamacare-compliant policies."
