Rescued Horses Available for Adoption

November 7, 2009 - 9:19pm

If you're in the market for a horse you have until Sunday to adopt some of 220 abused horses that were rescued from a ranch in Nebraska.

The Grace Foundation and the Humane Society worked together to train these horses and nurse them back to health.

Officials say most of the horses are halter-broke, and they're all very gentle.

Although some came just to play with the horses, they couldn't help but take them home.

Those that aren't adopted by 4:00 Sunday, will go to the Grace Foundation's rescue facility in Northern California.

If you are interested in helping one of these horses, you can go to the horses' training ranch on F.M. 858 off Highway 19.
