Longview, TX — The Longview Kennel Club is hosting AKC Responsible Dog Ownership Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at McWhorter Park.

Jeff Van Zandt, president of the club, said volunteers will be offering canine good citizen testing, meet the breeds, a mini dog show, obedience demonstrations, games and more. All dogs must be on leashes, and owners must bring proof of rabies vaccination and water for their thirsty pooch.
