HONOLULU (AP) - Chest pains have put conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh in a Honolulu hospital where he's said to be resting comfortably.

His radio program says Limbaugh, who was on vacation, "appreciates your prayers and well wishes." His program says updates will be posted on his Web site and his airwaves.

Kit Carson, Limbaugh's chief of staff, told The Associated Press that he had no further information.

He said the 58-year-old left for his usual Christmas vacation on Dec. 23 and is due to return to his show on Jan. 4. Carson didn't have any information on whether that schedule would change.

Before the program statement, Honolulu television station KITV reported Limbaugh was in serious condition.

The report said that Limbaugh was seen golfing at a country club next to his hotel earlier this week.

It's nice to see those on the left has set such high standards of compassion and toterance of those with opposing ideas. I wonder what would be said of us on the right if we had such standards.

he better repent for all of the lies that he tells the idiots that listen to him. sounds like he is getting close to meeting his maker. he needs to stay away from those drugs too, that is what is causing his heart problems, stupiud hypocrite.

My prayers go out to Rush. May God bless him and his family at this time. Hope that he has a speedy recover and will return to his normal activities.

Katie - Limbaugh has no NORMAL activities...he is a complete and utter fool.

I think it would have been preferable is this obnoxious twit had been addmitted to the morgue.
