tyler — I mentioned yesterday Vladimir Putin, president of Russia, has been taunting us by flying bomber right next to out pacific airspace.

He went on record this week saying the west is in decline.

I don't like him. I don't like what he said.

But, sadly, for the first time in my life, I think it's true.

It seems we are ok now with giving away out freedoms and rights as long as we get free stuff from the government.

We are melting and what seems to kill me is many of us don't even care.

What time is Jersey Shore on?

I thought maybe it was just me, but this last week I was reading an interview on John Milius, the move writer, director and producer.

This guy wrote Dirty Harry, Jeremiah Johnson and on and on.

He puts it best at what's wrong with America right now.

He says, "They don't mind losing their freedoms or anything else. I mean, I have this discussion all the time about how Americans are like spoiled children and it's been so long since they've had to struggle for freedom or money or an ease of living or anything like that that they don't care about it anymore. They're willing to throw their Constitution away, they're willing to ignore their military, and have no national pride, no pride in their attributes or things like this because all they want is comfort. They want comfort, security, and youth and good looks.

It's like kids who are fourth generation rich -  they don't know what it took to make the money, and they've never been absent of the money."

He's right, sadly.
