Search continues for Isle swimmer's body

3 others rescued
Galveston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; The search will continue until darkness for a man who disappeared on Thursday while swimming with friends in Galveston.
The 21-year-old went missing about 1:15 p.m. as he and three friends were about 40 yards from the shore near the Galveston Seawall and 45th Street.
Because they were not strong swimmers and near the 50-yard safety limit, a lifeguard went into the water to have them move closer to the shore, officials with the Galveston Beach Patrol said.
But the swimmers began struggling after stepping off a sand bar into water that went over their heads. The lifeguard pulled one of the swimmers to safety while a bystander managed to rescue two women, officials said.
