Galveston — The Houston Chronicle is reporting; the search effort will continue Tuesday for six people believed to have abandoned a sinking fishing boat near Galveston on Sunday afternoon.

The task for the rescue crews is daunting. They are searching an area roughly the size of Delaware for any sign of those who made the mayday call to the dispatcher at Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston headquarters.
