Kilgore — The Kilgore ISD school board opted on Monday to conduct its next superintendent search without using an outside firm.

Interim Superintendent Dennis Williams said Tuesday trustees unanimously agreed to conduct their own search.

The district created an application packet for applicants to fill out. The application packet is under review by the school district’s attorney. After the attorney approves it, the information will post it online for applicants to fill out for submission or it will be available in hard copy, Williams said.
