If you’re looking for work, this is the right time of year.
Seasonal or holiday hiring is about to kick into high gear especially.
The only downside, it probably won’t last long.
Right now, the parking lot here at Toys R Us is pretty empty.
It won’t be for long though.
And those holiday shoppers will need salespeople.
Gates Brelsford of Brelsford Personnel says, this time of year always means an employment spike.
Now we’re not going to lie to you and tell you these will be the best paying jobs or that you won’t work some oddball shifts.
But for a student who needs extra money or someone who has been out of work for awhile, they are a godsend.
And shopping can be hungry business. So restaurants will be hiring, too.
And the good news is, it’s better this year than last.
The other advantage of seasonal hiring is, you don’t need years of retail experience.
They can teach you.
