Second jailer arrested in death of Gregg County inmate

LONGVIEW, TX --- A second jailer has been arrested in the death of a Gregg County inmate.
Gregg County Sheriff Maxey Cerliano says a second person is currently being booked and arraigned into Gregg County jail after the death of 33-year-old Amy Cowling.
The name and charge have not been released at this time.
Tomeka Cross was arrested and charged Friday with tampering with a government document.
