SECURITY VIDEO: Lufkin Police working to identify freezer burglar

Police need the public's help to identify a man who was captured on surveillance video stealing from a freezer at a house in Lufkin.

It happened on October 26th on the 100 block of Lakewind Dr. in Lufkin.

According to the victim, the thief stole food from a freezer inside the garage. This was reportedly one of several burglaries and this was one of several burglaries at this house over a two month period.

This particular burglary was caught on video by a security camera mounted inside the garage. It shows the thief with a duffle bag, heading directly for the freezer. Police believe that this suggests he had been there before and may have been involved in the previous burglaries.

The burglar appears to be a black man wearing a hooded jacket and hat.

Investigators hope that this security video can help the public identify him.
