Seminar addresses how to react to shooter in workplace
Kilgore — People’s reactions can mean the difference between life and death when faced with the horror and chaos of a gunman in the workplace or school.
That was the message to business owners Tuesday during an active shooter training seminar held by risk management specialists Mark Seguin and Matt Tibbetts of TBG Solutions of Tyler.
The training was organized by the East Texas Human Resources Organization and held at Kilgore College’s Bert E. Woodruff Adult Education Center.
Seguin said his program is based on three principles: changing thinking, changing behavior and managing risk.
