Senator calls for anti-bullying law on college campuses

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey's U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg says he'll introduce legislation
requiring colleges to adopt a code of conduct that prohibits bullying and harassment following the suicide of a student whose gay sexual encounter was broadcast online.
Tyler Clementi jumped off the George Washington Bridge into the Hudson River on September 22nd. His death has led to nationwide soul-searching over the plight of gay teenagers.
Clementi's roommate and another student have been charged with invasion of privacy. Authorities are considering bias crime charges.
