Texas Senator John Cornyn was on CNN's State of the Union Sunday morning along with Democratic Senator Mark Warner from Virginia.

Both politicians were asked what they would do to cut the nation's growing deficit.

Senator Cornyn has taken a pledge to not raise taxes.
