Senior Circle members kicked up their boots and let down their hair Tuesday night for the sixth anniversary celebration, “Boot Scootin’ Boogie,” at the Summit Club in Longview.

Senior Circle is a program of Longview Regional Medical Center that promotes a healthy lifestyle and wellness for people 50 and older.

The event served as a fun night for members and nonmembers to dress up and enjoy dinner, but also double-dipped as exercise.

There was an attendance of about 220 people, including 114 teen and adult summer volunteers.

The Dagnabbit Band provided the tunes for a “long-anticipated” night of country western, as described by Senior Circle and Volunteer Manager Melinda Whitehurst.
