SFA makes history in MLB Draft
Nacogdoches, TX (KETK) A shortstop at Stephen F. Austin has become the eighth pick of the Major League Baseball Draft.
Hunter Dozier was taken by the Kansas City Royals Thursday night.
Dozier is the highest draft player in SFA school history,
He's 6'4", 220 pounds.
The Lumberjack junior started 55 games this season.
He batted .396 with 17 home runs and 52 RBI.
Dozier is a finalist for the Dick Howser Trophy which is given to the top player in college baseball.
