Long night for Longwood

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) - Jereal Scott shot 60 percent from the
floor and scored 15 points to help Stephen F. Austin cruise past
Longwood 80-54 on Monday night.

The Lumberjacks (2-0) got ahead early, shooting 48 percent in
the first half and leading 34-24 at halftime. They never trailed in
the second period and led by as many as 27 points late in the game.

Darius Gardner was perfect from the free-throw line, making 10
of 10. He finished with 13 points for the Lumberjacks. Antonio
Bostic helped out with 11 points.

David Robinson led the Lancers (0-2) with 11 points. Longwood
shot just 37 percent from the floor.
