Sheriff: 1 flown to hospital in ETX crash; synthetic marijuana found in car

Trinity County, Texas (KETK) — One person was flown to an area hospital after they were injured in a major crash on Highway 19 in Trinity County.
Emergency personnel responded to the crash Friday near FM 3542. Deputies believe a car rear ended a work truck, then left the road and slammed into a tree, according to the Trinity County Sheriff's Office. The truck also left the highway, but stopped in a ditch.
Due to injures, the driver of the car had to be flown to a hospital. Their identity has not been released.
Synthetic marijuana was found in the car and around the area of the crashed vehicle. State troopers are now investigating the incident.
