Shooting victim dies

Longview — One victim is now dead after fighting for his life two days at a Longview Hospital.

This could increase charges for a woman arrested yesterday in the case.

Police say 31-year-old Keisha Lashawn Benjamin shot 48-year-old Raymond Dupree twicevand 19-year-old Antwan Bernard Smithonce.

Officers in Longview went to Ridgley and Clover streets around 8 p.m. that night to investigate.

Doctors say Smith died overnight and Dupree is getting treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
