Should convicted sex offenders be allowed to attend a church that operates a day care?

All sex offenders should be in jail.

This is a silly question - the court orders that apply to child sex offenders prohibit presence in places where children gather.

The better question: Do children even belong in a church? Have they sinned? Do they need redemption? When sex offenders start brainwashing children at a young age in order to pattern their behavior, it is called grooming. what is it called when the church does it? I would rather see churches used to provide guidance and a path to sinners like sex offenders than to be grooming our kids to keep the collection plates full. Churches were designed for sinners. Any christians that turn away a sinner from seeking redemption will never cross past the gates of heaven.

Maybe not while the day care is in opperation. You never want to turn someone away from church if they truly need to be there; however, you don't want to throw pearls before swine, either.
