Slaying of popular Terlingua bar owner has ghost town reeling

Felts death: declared a homicide

The Houston Chronicle is reporting; Terlingua, a tiny town on the edge of Big Bend National Park in far west Texas, is an attraction for Houstonians seeking escape from urban life. But now it's reeling from the jolt of an alleged homicide, with one local resident accused of taking the life of another.

According to the Brewster County Sheriff's Office, Tony Flint, 37, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Glenn Patrick Felts, owner of the town's La Kiva Bar. Flint was in jail on $200,000 bond, officials said.
