An east Texas company specializing in large oil and gas equipment has just finished another big project.

Surface Equipment Corporation in Kilgore just completed construction on a 480-thousand pound slugcatcher. The slugcatcher will make its way from Kilgore to Western Oklahoma.

A specialized trailer with over 120 wheels was designed to transport the equipment. The move will be slow and is expected to take over a week.

The slugcatcher is used in the oil and gas industry to catch and collect "slugs" or large quantity of gas or liquid that exits a pipeline.

This current slugcatcher is their third largest the company has built. Two others were built and sent over to Egypt.

The slugcatcher is expected to make its way towards its final destination in the next couple of days.
