Tyler, TX (KETK) — Detectives and Patrol Deputies from the Smith County Sheriff's Office, along with an investigator from the District Attorney's Office,  arrested Bruce Dewayne Hash of Tyler on two counts of  aggravated sexual assault of  a child and one count of indecency with a child, sexual contact.

Jennifer Scritchfind Hurd of Tyler was also arrested at the same residence on Highway 155 South for hindering apprehension.

Hurd told officers Hash was not at the residence when they arrived to serve the warrants that had been issued by the 114th District Court. Hash had previously been arrested by warrant in this matter for one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Hash and Hurd were booked into the Smith County Jail.

Bonds for Hash total $900,000.
