Smith County pasture fire contained

smith county — As of 10:30 a.m., a one-acre fire on CR 1252, in the Winona area has been contained. The fire had threatened one home in the area.
Smith County Fire Marshal Jim Seaton said the pasture fire was caused by a squirrel on an electric line.
Volunteer firefighters are expected to stay on scene and monitor hotspots for the next hour.

According to the Smith County Fire Marshal's Office, crews are working a pasture fire on the 21,000 block of CR 1252.
Several fire departments and the fire marshal are on scene.
The blaze is currently threatening at least one structure.
