The dedication for the Soldier’s Memorial at the Lindale City Cemetery took place Saturday, June 23 with city officials and veteran’s group officials taking part.

The ceremony began at 9 a.m. with Lindale City Manager Owen Scott giving thanks to those who helped complete the project.

Nancy Smith, who has spearheaded the local effort for the memorial, then offered her thanks as well.
