Hart noted that funds from last year’s supper were used to support 17 local non-profit organizations.

As in the past, South Tyler Rotary joins with other Tyler Rotary Clubs continues to purchase and build bikes for children in Smith County at Christmas. South Tyler Rotary has also joined with the Tyler Fire Department in purchasing and installing smoke alarms to Smith County residents who are unable to afford them.

The goal for this year’s spaghetti supper is to net $25,000. President-Elect Stephen Taylor urges everyone who is looking for a quick, delicious, inexpensive meal on Thursday, April 17, to stop by First Christian Church. “Come have a delicious spaghetti supper with your South Tyler Rotarian friends and help us fund next year’s South Tyler Rotary grant awards for deserving local and international non-profit organizations.”
