The City of Tyler’s Liberty Hall and APEX Entertainment are offering opportunities for kids ages 8-14 to attend Summer Drama Camp at Liberty Hall, June 17 through 21.

Students will work together to put on the children's musical "Really Rosie" written by author Maurice Sendak and featuring the music of Carole King. Students will learn blocking, movement and dance, vocal technique, and teamwork from instructors Felicity Enas and Emmy Award winner, Hannah Morris.

The camp is from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day with a performance on Saturday, June 22 at 2:30 p.m. Students will need to bring a sack lunch every day and APEX will provide one snack.

“Liberty Hall is pleased to collaborate with local partners, such as APEX Entertainment, to bring the best in live entertainment to its stage,” said Anne Payne, Liberty Hall manager. “APEX provides both training of actors for film and stage and also produces cutting-edge plays.”

There are only 25 spots available and the camp costs $250.00 per participant. Registration is through APEX Entertainment at www.apextheater20.com or call (903) 740-5387.
