Store worker kills would-be robber
HOUSTON — The Houston Chronicle reports, an employee shot and killed a man who reportedly tried to rob a store in north Houston Thursday night.
The shooting occurred at the store at 822 W. Little York near Andy about 9:30 p.m., according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said the man, whose name has not been released, was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No other injuries were reported.
Police said the worker opened fire when the man apparently attempted to rob him. So far, no charges have been filed in the case.
