Storm leaves damage; drought unphased
A powerful, slow-moving storm that pelted much of Northeast Texas on Sunday and Monday will take longer to clean up.
Linda Weisinger was inside her home on Alta Street in Spring Hill Sunday when a large tree in her front yard tore free from the earth and fell towards her house clipping the corner of the dwelling.
“I have thanked God several times these last few days,” Weisinger said, as crews circled her house Tuesday estimating the cost of repairs.
