LONGVIEW — Longview Fire officials tell KETK the fire started in the front room of the house and was quickly contained by fire fighters.

The family was at home when the fire started and were able to escape safely.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is currently under investigation.

Longview Fire officials say a structure fire occured on the 2900 block of Letourneau in Longview around 9:00 Tuesday morning.

According to the department's twitter, that fire has been put out.

KETK has a crew on the scene and will provide more information as it becomes available.
