Structure fire in Lindale

October 29, 2008 - 4:48pm
LINDALE - The Lindale Fire Department was called out to a structure fire Wednesday afternoon.
It happened on County Road 4130 off Farm Road 2710 East of 452. Officials said one of three mobile homes on the same property caught fire, completely burning half of the home.
Officials said the cause of the fire was most likely a burn pile that was started Tuesday but not completely put out.
"Another mobile home had fire underneath, so we moved another engine and knocked out that fire," Captain Garner of the Lindale Fire Department said. "Then we got the brush trucks and knocked out the fire in the woods to protect the third mobile home."
Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the fire.
