UPDATE:

Fire crews responded to a house fire on the 600 block of Meadow Lane in Tyler around four this afternoon.

Neighbors said that they had seen smoke coming from the roof and attic. KETK spoke with Laura Mason, Assistant Fire Marshall of Tyler Fire Dept.

Mason confirmed that the fire had started on the first floor of the building and on further inspection found fire on the second floor and into the attic. Most of the damage was at the back of the house where there was smoke and heat damage.

No one was home at the time and there were no injuries to be reported. And the cause is still unknown at this time.
