Students sacrificing sleep to study

It's time for teens to start healthy sleeping habits before school starts. Students are sacrificing sleep to hit the books.

You would think they teens would choose sleep or studying...but that's not the case.

Teens aren't getting enough sleep.

Experts say, teens whom don't get enough sleep... will have poor academic performance.

Dr. Ghuge, at Trinity Mother Frances Sleep Center says, are three components of sleep; Irregularity Sleep, Quality of Sleep, and Quantity of Sleep. These three components are very important.

He also says, a healthy sleep schedule can help your body function better, it's better for your hormones and memory.

It's important to maintain good balances between sleep and and studying, it will show on your report card.
