A Tyler convenience store was robbed late Wednesday night.

It happened around 11:00 pm, at the K.B. Food Mart on the 2000 block of West Gentry in Tyler.

The incident was captured on the store's surveillance video.

The video shows the robber walking into the store, and struggling with the employee behind the counter.

The robber was able to get away with some cash.

The employee says the man had a weapon, and described the robber as an older man, wearing a black shirt.

If you have any information or can identify the robber, please contact the Tyler Police Department.

The attendant needs to wear a pull over smock type shirt, bullet proof vest, and a GUN.

No, not to protect the cash or goods but just in case the robber decides he does not want a 'loose end', or decides to kill just out of spite, hate, or whatever.

Also a video recorder needs to be at HEAD HEIGHT to get a better picture. Conceal it. Not hard as banks already do this.
