SURVEILLANCE VIDEO: Police identify suspected thief, ask for public's help finding him

Lufkin, TX (KETK) — UPDATE (February 11th): Lufkin Police have identified the person they believe stole a laptop from an area hospital.
After asking for the public's help back in January, East Texas residents responded, identifying the suspected thief as Ricardo Reyes, Jr., 22, of Lufkin.
Security video from Lufkin's Memorial Hospital shows that on November 5, 2012, a man believed to be Reyes stole a hospital employee's laptop from a break room in the hospital.

Lufkin Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Ricardo Reyes Jr. for this felony theft.
Angelina County also wants Reyes on a probation warrant from an original offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Reyes is a hispanic male, who is about 5'8'' tall. He weighs about 175 lbs.
He was last known to be living in the 2300 block of Palmore Rd. in Lufkin.
He is unemployed, and typically travels on foot around the Lufkin area.

ORIGINAL REPORT (January 28th): A man was caught on camera stealing from a Lufkin area hospital.
It happened on November 5, 2012 at Lufkin's Memorial Hospital on the 1200 block of West Frank Ave.
Surveillance video from the hospital shows that a man entered the hospital's break room empty handed, but then left the room carrying an employee's laptop bag.
The bag had a Sony Vaio laptop computer and a Texas Instruments scientific calculator.
The man was wearing a dark blue t-shirt, tan shorts, black tennis shoes with white toe caps and a long necklace with a large cross pendant.
He arrived at the hospital in a red minivan driven by a woman.
The woman was identified and interviewed, but claims to not know who the man is.
