Lufkin Crime Stoppers are looking for two thieves who stole mobile phones from a Lufkin Department store.

Security cameras show that one thief stood watch over the electronics section, while the other melted the security devices on the phones.

They then took the mobile phones and left the area before a loss prevention employee could stop them.

Law enforcement hopes that the video of the crime will help lead to their arrest.

One of the thieves is described as a hispanic man who was wearing a dark shirt, below-the-knee shorts, and tennis shoes at the time of the crime. The loss prevention employee said that he had a "gothic" appearance, with long, dreadlock-style hair. He was also carrying a purse.

Police believe that the unique appearance of this individual will make him easier for the public to identify.

The other thief is described as a medium-build, medium-height white or hispanic man, who was wearing jeans and a dark t-shirt at the time of the crime.

If you can identify either of the suspects, or if you can provide information concerning this crime or the location of the stolen property, call Crime Stoppers of Lufkin at (936) 639-TIPS or submit an anonymous tip at www.LufkinCrimeStoppers.com.

You never have to give your name and Crime Stoppers may pay a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest related to this crime.
