Suspects apprehended stealing auto parts

LONGVIEW — On January 14, 2010 the Longview Police Department received information that several subjects were attempting to steal auto parts from Southern Auto Parts at 3700 East Marshall Avenue.
At around 3:22 a.m., officers located the suspect’s vehicle parked nearby and conducted surveillance while they waited for the suspects to return.
At around 4:19 a.m., several suspects returned to the vehicle carrying tools and auto parts stolen from Southern Auto Parts.
Officers stopped the subjects and recovered several stolen parts that were later returned to Southern Auto Parts.
Arrested were:
1. Joshua David Lambert, 1-11-1988, 1833 Pleasant Road Longview; charged with theft with prior convictions, fail to identify as a fugitive, and several outstanding warrants.
2. Dereal Jace Holley, 4-29-1989, 306 Magnolia Longview, charged with theft with prior convictions and an outstanding warrant.
Charges were filed on an additional suspect, but he was not arrested at the scene. Both Lambert and Holley were booked in to the Gregg County Jail.
